This team includes highly skilled and certified technical AX professionals that will be stationed in Booth #113 to help you put out your AX fires! • The New Industrial Revolution: Manufacturing, IoT, and AX (10/13/16 5:00PM-6:00PM)

  • Building on the concept of integrating the shop floor with Microsoft Dynamics AX, this presentation explores the added capabilities and potential resources of the manufacturing industry made possible through IoT and Dynamics AX.

• Effective Use and Setup of Project Validations, Posted Transactions and Adjustments (10/13/16 5:00PM-6:00PM)

  • In this educational presentation, you will learn how to gain operational efficiencies for service oriented businesses through validation configurations for project workers, groups and categories. These validations assist in managing project hours’ transactions within Project Management and Accounting module. Also covered: managing and amending transactions in the Project Management and Accounting module (how to adjust cost and sales rates for the posted and unposted hours’ transactions as well the options to split transactions before billing). The other project transaction types’ adjustment options (fees, expenses, items) will be demonstrated as well.

• Best Friends: Your Shop Floor Machinery and Microsoft Dynamics AX (10/14/16 10:15AM-11:15AM)

  • A session that combines the power of the latest and greatest Microsoft technologies on one stage, experiencing the Azure IoT Hub to capture data from remote machines, as well as bi-directional communications via mobile devices. The devices converse directly with AX and present you with the opportunity to experience the flexibility of PowerBI. This presentation will include a live demonstration of a real-time device monitoring application (via Raspberry Pi simulation) communicating with AX and instantaneous PowerBI analytics. It will also exhibit the online and offline mobile apps capabilities for AX on an example of a real-time manufacturing control application. Learn how you can gain enterprise-wide visibility from the shop floor and the field to the top floor for analysis.

• Intercompany Accounting for Service and Project Based Orgs (10/14/16 3:45PM-4:45PM)

  • Join us for an educational session exploring how Dynamics AX can help simplify and automate many tasks for project and service based companies that have multiple legal entities. We will explore challenges such as inter-company billing, shared resource planning, and tracking of all inter-company transactions.
